WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
In total, a LIFE ON MAIN church service is about 75 minutes in length. When you arrive, whether for the coffee hour at 10 or the service at 11, you will enter through a door with a "LIFE ON MAIN - A FOURSQUARE CHURCH" sign attached to it. You will enter into the main meeting room. Coffee can be found straight ahead once you enter. You will be met by someone at the door who will hand you a bulletin and a gift bag. They can also answer any questions you may have. There is an information table just inside the door to the right where you can find information about the church. Songbooks are also available there for use during the service. You are invited to grab a coffee and find a seat in the "sanctuary" section, or sit down at the table and enjoy some good conversation. If you need a restroom, they can be found through the doors behind the information table area.
Before the service begins, announcement slides are played on the screen. As service time gets closer, some live instrumental music will be played on the cello and/or piano. Our music leader will then welcome people and lead us in a few songs. The lyrics for all songs are projected on the movie screen, but song books can be used for some of the older traditional hymns if people would like. Feel free to sing along and/or engage with the worship music however you feel comfortable. Some people just sing, while others have been known to kneel or raise hands to the Lord as they feel inclined.
After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors lead in a prayer. We then read a portion of scripture together, alternating between the reader up front and the congregation. Another pastor shares a biblically-based word of encouragement known as the "God Moment" - a reading in the first person as though God Himself was saying it. After this, announcements and upcoming events are shared.
To round out our time together, the lead pastor, one of our other pastors, or a special speaker shares from the Bible an encouraging and hope-filled message about the Lord Jesus and the Christian life to help us mature spiritually. We close with a final song and a prayer.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We believe that kids should look forward to coming to church, and we want to make that a priority. We provide a Bible-based, Christ-centered, age-appropriate curriculum that takes place during our worship gathering. They do not have to participate in our children's program if they would rather sit in the service, but it is an option for them.
In addition to providing an enjoyable time for them, we also prioritize your children's safety. All of our children's workers have undergone background checks and completed a training program focusing on child safety. We also have trained covert security on the premises to ensure the safety of everyone who attends. We always have a minimum of two workers with the children. The kids are never left by themselves. They are even escorted to bathroom visits. There is a check-in procedure for which we encourage you to arrive 5 minutes early to complete the first time you come.
We have a nursery available for parents with infants. This area is two rooms removed from the main meeting room for increased privacy. We have people who can watch your little ones. You can also use the room yourself, if you so choose. A Pack-N-Play playpen is provided. There is also a changing table in the handicap bathroom for your convenience.

If you would like, share some information with us so that we can get things ready for your arrival.
