NEXT STEPS

Spiritual growth is a journey, and every journey begins with a step. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or ready to lead others, Life On Main offers pathways to help you grow, connect, and serve. From small groups and discipleship cohorts to ministry training and missions, here are just a few ways you can engage in “being” the church beyond the weekend and take your next step in following Jesus.

OUTLET GROUPS

Finding a small group is a cornerstone for any believer's walk with Christ. It gives one an opportunity to experience true fellowship and meaningful connection to others who are on the same spiritual journey. Our outlet groups help you establish and build friendships in a Christ-centered environment.

Outlet groups are 2-5 person groups that develop a regular time of Bible reading and devotions and learn to apply the Word together. Outlet Groups provide loving encouragement and accountability in our Christian walk, as well as a safe place to grow in our spiritual giftings as we learn to utilize them effectively and redemptively. Contact the church office for a list of locations of groups.

These groups meet in public spaces throughout the community, where I faith can be seen and experienced by others who may never come to a church building. This is not to draw attention to ourselves but rather to shine the light of Christ in a dark world.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

In the summer of 2023, our women's ministry launched under the leadership of Pastor Sharon Boyden. Our Women’s Ministry is a place where every woman has a seat at the table and can come together to dive into God’s Word and seek after Him in unity. It is a time to encourage, support, and challenge one another to become the women, wives, and mothers God has called us to be.

The meetings happen monthly after the church service at the church building every 2nd Sunday at 12:30 PM. The gathering lasts for about 90 minutes.

Ladies ages 13 and up are invited to join us as we meet together, worship, pray, and encourage one another to press into all that God has for us!

These groups have ended for the winter months and will resume in the Spring of 2026. If you would like more information, email the church office at office@lifeonmain.org and someone will get back in touch with you.

LIFETRAC COHORTS

These cohorts offer learning and coaching tracks to disciple believers to the next level of their Christian walk - from the point of exploring the faith to being sent out to lead a ministry or plant a church. These cohorts contain (1) Teaching, (2) Discussion, (3) Coaching; and (4) Accountability and are accomplished through "the 3 E's" - Education, Encouragement, and Exhortation.

There are 6 tracks depending on where you are at in your Christian walk. Track 1 is for those who may not consider themselves Christians yet, but they are exploring the Christian faith; Track 2 is for those believers who are seeking at the initial stages of their Christian walk and who want to get more grounded in their faith; Track 3 is for those who are firm in their faith and looking to grow deeper; Track 4 is for learning ministry skills; Track 5 is designed for spiritual leadership development; While Track 6 focuses on relationship and life enhancement.

These courses and discussions are currently offered at the local level.

LIVING STONES SCHOOL OF MINISTRY

Our ministry school is a branch of International School of Ministry (ISOM) which has 20,000+ training sites in 150 nations. It is a church-based Bible school through which we currently offer an Associates Degree in Ministry, with a B.A. in Ministry being offered in the Fall of 2026! It is designed to equip the Church to do the work of the ministry, as stated in Ephesians 4.

The video curriculum is taught by well-known teachers, such as Jack Hayford, Reinhard Bonnke, Joyce Meyer, John Bevere and 26 others, each in their areas of expertise. Knowledge, character, and spiritual gifts are equally taught.

The curriculum is interdenominational in scope and pentecostal in theology. We welcome people and churches to participate in the program as they deem appropriate. We seek to respect theological differences as they arise, unified on the foundation of Jesus Christ.

MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES

Jesus told the disciples to be 'fishers of men' and that is our mission as well. As we have freely received, so we are to freely give that which God has given to us. The Church has been called of Christ to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth. So are we also called to testify of Him locally, regionally, nationally, and globally. We are active in missions, whether it is to go, give or pray. We support missions with our time, talent and treasury in many ways...

LOCALLY - through community outreaches, "Fix-It" ministries, and area "food shelves"

REGIONALLY - through Greater Things Ministries and interdenominational connections/networking

NATIONALLY - through short-term missions trips and disaster relief initiatives

GLOBALLY - through Foursquare Missions International , Greater Things Ministries, Empowered By Livestock, and Operation: Christmas Child.
